TTD Kalyana vedika at Tirumala Sacred Sites of Tirupati (TTD), The registration of marriages in Tirumala is performed through a program called Kalyana Vedika. You can register for free marriage slots on Kalyana Vedika’s website.

Guidelines:

  • Both the bride and the groom must follow the Hindu religion.
  • The bride must be at least 18 years old and the husband at least 21 years old on the wedding day.
  • Before being married, the bride and groom must each present one of the following documents to the TTD Authorities: a school transcript, a birth certificate, a PAN card, a passport, or a driver’s license.
  • A residential certificate received from the concerned Thasildar or an Aadhaar card proving the residence of the bride and the bridegroom must be submitted.
  • The bridegroom’s and the bride’s parents must be present when the marriage takes place. If a parent has passed away, the other person should go with their Aadhar card and the death certificate of the deceased parent. In the instance in which both parents pass away, guardians may be appointed with proper identification (such as an Aadhar card) and a copy of the parent’s death certificates.
  • Second marriages and marriages for love are prohibited.
    You must present the unmarried certificate you received from the relevant authorities [MRO/Thasildhar].
  • Group weddings may be done on a specific Muhurtham day, depending on demand.
  • TTD will give a receipt of darshan following the marriage ceremony at Kalyana Vedika. Six people may receive free darshan at Tirumala through the Special Entrance Darshan (Rs. 300) “Q” line entry. Bride, Groom, and four more folks (the couple’s parents or guardians).
  • Free accommodation in a room will be available for 24 hours; extensions need payment for a second day. Upon payment and depending on space, another room will be made available.
  • The government registration office in Tirumala accepts the same receipt for darshan when pilgrims need to obtain a marriage certificate.
  • TTD will give the couples Pasupu, Kumkuma, Kankanams, and Prasadam.
