Question & Answers

Can I visit Tirumala twice in a month?

Yes, you can visit Tirumala twice in a month if you book your darshan tickets separately. Devotees are welcome to visit the Sri Venkateswara Temple as per their religious inclination and convenience. However, it’s important to note that during peak pilgrimage seasons or special occasions, there may be crowd management measures in place, and you may have to follow certain guidelines or book darshan tickets in advance. It is advisable to check the official website or contact the temple administration for any specific information or updates regarding your visit.

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), which manages the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple, allows pilgrims to book darshan tickets for up to 6 times in a year. However, you can only book tickets for a maximum of 2 darshans in a month.

If you want to visit Tirumala twice in a month, you will need to book your darshan tickets for different days. You can book your tickets online or through the TTD app. When you book your tickets, you will need to provide your name, date of birth, and Aadhaar number. You will also need to choose the type of darshan you want.

There are a few different types of darshan available at Tirumala. The most common type of darshan is the general darshan. This type of darshan allows you to stand in line and wait for your turn to see the deity. The general darshan is free of charge.
