Sri Balaji Arogya Varaprasadini Scheme was one of the TTD schemes established in 2007 at Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS), the TTD’s super specialty hospital. This trust uses the money it receives to fund medical research and to treat deserving people.
Sri Balaji Arogya Varaprasadini is a comprehensive health scheme launched by the TTD with the aim of providing high-quality and affordable healthcare to all people. The scheme covers a wide range of medical services, including free medical check-ups, diagnostic tests, and subsidized medical treatment. The scheme is available to all pilgrims, regardless of their religion, caste, or nationality.
The scheme requires a minimum commitment of Rs. 1,000 or multiples thereof. A donation of less than Rs. 1000 will be automatically credited to Srivari Hundi’s account without notifying the donor.
The National Council for the Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare proposed that all People, corporations, companies, Joint Donors, etc., be entitled to uniform benefits in addition to Income Tax benefits under Section 80 (G) of the Indian Income Tax Act, 1961.
