TTD Rs. 10 Lakh Donation, Donor Privileges and Benefits

TTD’s Rs. 10 Lakh and above donor category sits within the broader “Anantha Swarnamayam” (gold-plating) and other major donor schemes. Donors at this tier receive a structured set of lifetime or long-term privileges, annual VIP Break Darshan, free TTD accommodation, Suprabhata seva slots, prasadam, and recognition at the temple. The privileges are extended for the donor and up to five family members per year, with separate rules for individual donors versus joint or corporate donors.

What Rs. 10 lakh donation gets you

Per TTD’s published donor scheme, a Rs. 10 lakh contribution to an eligible TTD trust entitles the donor to the following annual privileges:

  • Free accommodation for three days per year at TTD’s Tirumala hill rooms, for the donor plus up to five family members listed on the donor record
  • VIP Break Darshan for three separate days per year, direct sanctum access, not the regular queue
  • Suprabhata seva participation on three separate days per year, entry to the early-morning awakening ritual of the Lord
  • One Veda Ashirvachanam ceremony on a chosen day each year, Vedic blessing performed by TTD pundits for the donor and family
  • Annual prasadam, TTD ships prasadam to the donor’s registered address once a year
  • Recommendation for Veda Parayanam and Ashtadala Pada Padmaradhana, high-priority seva access on request
  • Donor name displayed at temple premises, on plaques in the relevant donor-trust block
  • Section 80G tax exemption on the donation amount under the Income Tax Act, 1961

Duration of privileges

  • Individual donors, privileges typically extend for the donor’s lifetime
  • Companies, partnerships, joint donors, privileges extend for a fixed term, commonly 20 years from the date of donation

Privileges are non-transferable beyond the listed family members. Adding a family member after the original donation requires a separate application to TTD’s donor cell.

How to donate

  1. Visit tirumala.org/Donations.aspx and choose the relevant scheme (Anantha Swarnamayam, Sri Venkateswara Nitya Annaprasadam Trust, Sri Venkateswara Heritage Preservation Trust, SVBC, etc.).
  2. Select the donation amount slab (Rs. 10 lakh or above for the privileges described here).
  3. Complete the donor form with full name, address, Aadhaar / PAN, and up to five family member names.
  4. Pay via the TTD payment gateway (NEFT, RTGS, debit card, net banking). For Rs. 10 lakh and above, TTD also accepts demand drafts to the relevant trust’s name.
  5. TTD issues a donor passbook within 4 to 6 weeks, with the donor number printed on it. This passbook is mandatory for claiming privileges.

Claiming your annual privileges

Privileges are not automatically scheduled. The donor must apply in advance for each privilege:

  • VIP Break Darshan, submit application 30 days ahead to the TTD JEO’s office, with the donor passbook and family member IDs
  • Accommodation, book 60 days ahead through the donor portal; preferred-block allotment from Padmavathi or Vaikuntham rest houses
  • Suprabhata seva, apply 90 days ahead with date preferences; subject to availability
  • Veda Ashirvachanam, apply with date and family member list 30 days ahead

Choosing the right trust

TTD operates several donor trusts at the Rs. 10 lakh tier. The privilege set is largely identical, but the cause differs:

  • Anantha Swarnamayam Trust, temple gold plating and infrastructure
  • Sri Venkateswara Nitya Annaprasadam Trust, funds the daily free meals served to pilgrims
  • Sri Venkateswara Heritage Preservation Trust, restoration of TTD’s heritage temples
  • Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Nitya Annaprasadam Trust, funds meal services at the Padmavathi temple in Tiruchanur
  • Sri Venkateswara Gosamrakshana Trust, TTD’s cow protection programme

Donors often choose Annaprasadam, donations directly fund meals served to the same pilgrims they will be in queue with on their darshan days. The privilege set is the same regardless of cause selected.

Common questions

Is the Rs. 10 lakh donation a one-time amount? Yes. A single contribution of Rs. 10 lakh to one trust unlocks the privileges; no annual top-up required.

Can multiple donors at lower tiers combine for the 10-lakh privileges? No. The privilege set is unlocked per single donation record. Two Rs. 5 lakh donors receive Rs. 5 lakh privileges each, not Rs. 10 lakh shared.

What if I want privileges for more than 5 family members? The base scheme covers up to 5 family members. Additional members can be added on separate application; TTD considers these case by case.

How do I get the Section 80G receipt? TTD sends a receipt automatically with the donor passbook. Keep the original for tax filing.

For the current donor scheme list, exact privilege details and updated forms, the only authoritative source is tirumala.org/Donations.aspx and the TTD donor cell.
