Every morning at Tirumala, after Tomala Seva, Sahasra Namaarchana is performed to the main deity. The holy feet of the Lord is worshipped with the basil leaves offered by the Jiyyangars while reciting the thousand divine names of the Lord. Later, the basil at the feet is removed to be worshipped by reciting Sri Maha Lakshmi’s 24 divine names. It lasts approximately 30 minutes. On payment of the required fees, devotees can participate in this.
In addition to the above, the Lord is worshipped twice after the second and third bells by reciting his 108 divine names (Ashtottara Shasra Namaarchana). They are completed in solitude. On payment of the required fees, paid devotees can participate in the Ashta Dala Pada Padmaraadhana as part of the second Archana on Tuesdays.
