Madhavam Guest House – Best TTD Accommodation

f you are planning to stay in Tirumala but are unable to find accommodation in any of the guest houses there, there is a fantastic alternative available in Tirupati called Madhavam. The guest house is in Tirupati that is maintained by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), and it is exclusively allocated to pilgrims who are traveling to Tirumala for Darshan (a religious visit).

There are instances when all the guest houses and accommodations in Tirumala become fully occupied, leaving the TTD unable to accommodate more pilgrims in Tirumala. In such situations, pilgrims have the option to book a stay at Madhavam in Tirupati. From there, they can conveniently travel to Tirumala for their Darshan and return to Tirupati for their accommodation. It’s worth noting that both Srinivasam and Madhavam are located within the same compound, offering a seamless transition for the pilgrims.

Check-in Timings for Madhavam Guest House

Slot-1: 12 AM to 5:59 AM
Slot-2: 6 AM to 11:59 AM
Slot-3: 12 PM to 5:59 PM
Slot-4: 6 PM to 11:59 PM

Pilgrims who have chosen a time slot must report only at that time. If recently reported, the room will not be allotted; therefore, be cautious when selecting a check-in time slot during online booking.

How To Reach Madhavam Guest House

• Tirupati Railway Station is 1.8 kilometers away. You can hire a car for Rs.50/-.
• Tirupati Central Bus Stand is 400 meters away. It is a 5-minute walk from the bus stop. There is a tube that runs from the Bus Stand to the Madhavam Complex.
• It is 14 kilometers from Tirupati Airport, which is located near Renigunta. For airport pickup, you can hire a cab.

Online Booking of Madhavam Rooms Accommodation

• 50% of the rooms in Madhavam are available for online booking. Pilgrims can make reservations on the TTD Online Website up to 60 days in advance.
• Only one room can be booked per user, and a user can book for one day and extend it to another day at the complex. If you intend to stay longer than two days, you must pay double the rent.
• Cancellation and date changes are not permitted.

Offline Booking of Madhavam Rooms Accommodation

• On-arrival bookings are given priority for half of the available rooms.
• One room is reserved exclusively for each guest, and reservations can only be made for the day in question.
• Caution deposits equal to one day’s room rent must be paid upon check-in and are refunded when guests check out of their rooms.
• At check-out, you are required to present both the receipt for your room booking and the same person who checked you in.

Points To Remember

• Online cancellation of accommodations is possible; however, you will only receive a refund of the base tariff and will be responsible for paying any applicable taxes.
• You are required to check in only during the time slot that you selected when you made the reservation for the room; if you arrive after that time, you will not be given a room.
• After you have checked out of the room, your caution deposit will be returned to your account within seven to ten days.
