About Tirumala Info — Editorial Standards and Sources

Last reviewed: 31 August 2026. Tirumala Info is an independent information site. We are not Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), the Government of Andhra Pradesh, a ticket seller, or a tour operator. We cannot issue darshan tickets, reserve accommodation, change a booking, or promise availability.

What we publish

Our main subject is practical Tirumala and Tirupati pilgrimage planning: official booking routes, darshan and seva rules, accommodation, transport, accessibility, facilities, festivals, and nearby TTD temples. We aim to help readers understand an official notice and find the correct official service—not replace that notice or service.

Information about prices, quota releases, reporting points, wait times, eligibility, and schedules can change quickly. A page on this site is a planning guide, not a live inventory. Before paying or travelling, check the current information on the official TTD portal.

Our source hierarchy

We use the most direct primary source available for each claim. In order of preference:

  1. TTD’s official service and booking portal for current booking flows, service rules, receipts, contact details, and availability shown to the public.
  2. TTD News for dated announcements, press releases, festival notices, and daily crowd or darshan updates.
  3. TTD’s official information website for institutional information, facilities, transport, accommodation, publications, and board material.
  4. Government departments, statutory bodies, court judgments, APSRTC, Indian Railways, or IRCTC for a claim that belongs to that authority rather than TTD.

We do not treat a travel agent, hotel, aggregator, social-media repost, or another blog as proof of a TTD rule. We also do not label a social account “official” unless the owning institution links to or otherwise authenticates it.

How a time-sensitive guide is checked

  1. Identify the exact claim that could affect a pilgrim: date, price, quota, eligibility, document, reporting point, route, or restriction.
  2. Open the relevant primary source and record what it actually says, including the notice or publication date when one is available.
  3. Separate a permanent rule from a temporary announcement. A quota notice for one month is not rewritten as a rule for every month.
  4. Link readers to the exact official service or notice whenever a stable public URL exists.
  5. Keep the original publication date. A factual correction or source refresh does not make an old article newly published.
  6. When official sources disagree, prefer the newer, more specific notice and state the uncertainty instead of guessing.

For example, our guides to VIP Break Darshan procedures, Madhavam Guest House, lower-cost TTD rooms, and Vishnu Nivasam describe a process but direct readers back to TTD for the current offer and rules.

Corrections and change history

On 30 August 2026 we completed a source-integrity repair after finding internal editorial-note fragments and stale source language on eight published guides. We backed up the affected records, corrected only those eight pages, verified the visible article and structured description, and kept their original publication dates. We also corrected the homepage title and heading. No unrelated article was republished to manufacture freshness.

Automatic internal-link insertion is disabled while the existing rule set is audited. Contextual links are added only when the destination genuinely answers the reader’s next question. We do not sell links, accept paid followed links, or exchange links for ranking purposes.

If a material error is confirmed, we correct the claim and its source rather than quietly changing the date. When a page is no longer useful and an exact replacement exists, it may redirect to that replacement. Unrelated pages are not redirected to the homepage.

What we will not claim

  • We will not claim that a ticket, room, seva, donor benefit, or queue time is guaranteed.
  • We will not claim a visit, conversation, test, or personal experience that was not documented.
  • We will not present generated text, an aggregator, or an unsourced social post as an official announcement.
  • We will not take payment for TTD services or ask readers to send identity documents or booking credentials.
  • We will not publish communal, political, or sectarian claims as pilgrimage guidance.

Authorship and AI assistance

“Vidzone Team” is the site’s organisational byline. It does not represent a named priest, TTD official, travel agent, or medical professional. Research and editing may use software or AI assistance, but a human operator remains responsible for checking time-sensitive claims against the primary sources above. AI output is not accepted as a source.

Report an error

Use our contact page to report an error. Please include the page URL, the sentence you believe is wrong, and a primary-source link if you have one. For booking help or an urgent official answer, contact TTD directly through its official helpdesk page, which currently lists the 24-hour toll-free number 155257 and the official helpdesk email.

Privacy and safety

Do not send us Aadhaar details, ticket numbers, payment credentials, medical records, or other sensitive booking information. Read our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer for the site’s general data and liability terms.
