Tirumala Virtual Seva Online Ticket, Rs. 500 Kalyanotsavam Sponsorship
Virtual Seva is TTD’s online sponsorship product for pilgrims who cannot travel for the seva date but want to formally sponsor a temple ritual. The most common Virtual Seva is Virtual Kalyanotsavam at Rs. 500 per ticket. The seva is performed by TTD priests at the temple on the booked date and broadcast live on SVBC (TTD’s official TV channel) and the SVBC YouTube channel. Sponsoring devotees also receive a Rs. 100 Special Entry Darshan ticket valid for 90 days from the seva date, redeemable on a visit to Tirumala or Tiruchanoor.
What Rs. 500 Virtual Kalyanotsavam includes
- Sponsorship of one Kalyanotsavam seva on the booked date, name read out by the temple archakas during the ritual
- Live broadcast on SVBC TV and the SVBC YouTube channel, watch from anywhere
- One Rs. 100 Special Entry Darshan ticket, valid for 90 days from the seva date, redeemable at Tirumala or Tiruchanoor Sri Padmavathi Ammavari temple
- Two laddu prasadam coupons (collected at Tirumala when the darshan ticket is redeemed)
- Sandalwood / kumkum / vastram (sacred cloth), sent to the registered address for select packages
How to book
- Log in to ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in with the registered mobile number.
- Under Pilgrim Services, select Virtual Seva (also listed as Arjitha Sevas → Virtual).
- Choose Virtual Kalyanotsavam (Rs. 500) and an available date. Tickets are released Monday through Friday at 3:00 PM IST.
- Enter the sponsoring devotee’s name and one other family member name to be read out by the archakas.
- Provide a postal address if you want the sandalwood / kumkum sent by post.
- Pay Rs. 500 via UPI, debit card or net banking. Save the booking confirmation PDF.
Watching the seva live
- SVBC TV channel, available on most Indian DTH and cable providers; check your provider’s channel list
- SVBC YouTube, search “SVBC TTD” on YouTube; live streams are public
- SVBC website, svbcttd.com hosts the live feed during seva times
Kalyanotsavam is performed daily at 11:00 AM IST. The SVBC live broadcast starts about 10:30 AM with introductory chants and runs through to about 12:15 PM. Sponsoring devotees’ names are read during the formal sankalpam (intention declaration) at approximately 11:10 AM.
Redeeming the darshan ticket
- Plan a Tirumala visit within 90 days of the seva date.
- Pre-book the redemption slot through the same TTD login, under Virtual Seva → Redeem Darshan.
- Choose Tirumala or Tiruchanoor Sri Padmavathi Ammavari temple.
- Carry: original photo ID, the Virtual Seva booking confirmation, and the redemption slot confirmation.
- Reach the Tirumala Special Entry counter at the booked reporting time. The Rs. 100 ticket gives direct Special Entry queue access without buying a separate ticket.
The Rs. 100 ticket via Virtual Seva is a smaller-fee than the standard Rs. 300 Special Entry Darshan, TTD’s discount for sponsoring devotees. The queue and wait time at the temple is similar.
Difference from Rs. 500 cash Special Entry
This is a common confusion. There are two distinct products with the number “500”:
- Rs. 500 Virtual Seva (this article), online sponsorship of Kalyanotsavam + Rs. 100 darshan within 90 days. You do not need to be in Tirumala on the seva date.
- Rs. 300 Special Entry Darshan, the actual paid darshan ticket. Costs Rs. 300, not Rs. 500. You must be in Tirumala on the booked date.
If your goal is to physically visit Tirumala for darshan, book Rs. 300 Special Entry Darshan directly. If your goal is to formally sponsor a seva with the option to visit later, Virtual Seva at Rs. 500 is the product.
Cancellation
Per TTD policy, all seva bookings, including Virtual Seva, are final. No refund, no postponement, no advancement.
Common questions
Can I sponsor multiple sevas in a single Virtual booking? No. One booking per seva. To sponsor multiple Kalyanotsavams on different dates, book each separately.
What if I cannot redeem the Rs. 100 ticket within 90 days? The ticket lapses. There is no extension. Plan the Tirumala visit at booking time, not after.
Can the Rs. 100 ticket be transferred to a family member who’s visiting Tirumala? No. The ticket is tied to the sponsoring devotee’s ID and is non-transferable.
Will my name actually be read out? Yes. The archakas read the sponsoring devotee’s name and one family member’s name during the formal sankalpam, which is part of the SVBC broadcast. Listen for it around 11:10 AM on the seva date.
Is Virtual Seva available for sevas other than Kalyanotsavam? TTD has expanded Virtual Seva to include select other sevas including a virtual Kalyanotsavam at Tiruchanoor Sri Padmavathi Ammavari temple. The Rs. 500 base price applies; check the TTD portal for the full current list.
For current Virtual Seva availability and the SVBC live schedule, only use ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in and svbcttd.com.
